The Snow Lake (Lukpe Lawo) trek is one of the most wild and remote expeditions in the Karakoram. It leads to a high-altitude glacial basin, over 10 miles wide, which is one of the largest expanses of snow and ice outside the polar regions. The journey is challenging, involving glacier travel, rope work, and crossing the Hispar La pass. For seasoned adventurers, it offers an unparalleled experience of pristine, untouched wilderness and breathtaking glacial scenery.
