Paiju is a legendary and vital campsite on the K2 Base Camp trek. It is the last green space before stepping onto the vast, icy highway of the Baltoro Glacier. Nestled at the base of the towering Paiju Peak, it serves as a crucial acclimatization spot. This is where porters traditionally prepare for the glacier, singing and dancing to ready themselves. For trekkers, it's a place of rest, reflection, and anticipation for the incredible journey ahead.
